Patan
Patan is a satellite town of Kathmandu's capital city, commonly known as Lalitpur. This is the core of the heritage region, with numerous temples and monuments that bear witness to a bygone era of great building and design. The most significant structure is Durbar Square. There are several businesses surrounding the centre courtyard, making souvenir searching enjoyable.
